Volunteers

Volunteers play a pivotal role in delivering information and support.  Their primary role is to be ready to offer friendship and a helping hand both to the visitors and staff alike.

These are some of the roles they provide.

  • Meeting and greeting visitors and guests.

  • Offering refreshments

  • Having the time to sit and talk.  Many people who visit us live alone and miss having someone to talk to about general everyday things.

  • Providing reassurance

  • Helping visitors find information

  • Introducing to the health care professionals in the centre
