We offer a holistic range of services, practical and emotional, run by healthcare professionals to support anyone affected by cancer; patient, family or friend.

Our drop-in service is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, no appointment necessary.

The Well – Complementary Therapy Centre

Provides a service for cancer patients; including a package of six free beauty and complementary therapies for both men and women from Barnsley who are being treated for cancer.

Barnsley Hospice

Provides specialist palliative care and support to local people and their families; aiming to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients with a life limiting illness. Bereavement support is available.

Provides benefits advice, to those affected by cancer, through a team of Macmillan Benefit Advisors.

Barnsley Cancer Aftercare Group

A society of patients, friends and relatives who have been affected cancer. The group offers support, friendship and social activities. There is sometimes a specialist nurse available at the group meetings.

Barnsley Breast Care Group

A support group during the day for women who have undergone treatment for breast cancer there is a Breast Care Nurse available for help, advice or professional support and a qualified complementary therapist attends every meeting and offers 30 minute treatment sessions free of charge.
