    Emma Clarke

    Director of Services and Grant Giving

    Emma is a passionate voluntary sector leader who has worked in the health, social care and education sectors for nearly 20 years.  Her background includes leading community-based services for disabled children and their families, disabled adults and people living with long-term health conditions.  She has also had the opportunity to lead national projects in partnership with Dept. of Health, NHS England and Department for Education.   Emma is responsible for leading Weston Park Cancer Charity’s Services and Grant-Giving strategy to ensure that vital funds raised by dedicated supporters has maximum impact for people living with and beyond cancer.  She does this by working in partnership with those using services, the staff team and partners across the region.  Emma is a proud Sheffield-er and enjoys nothing more than walking her spaniel Bert. Emma works full time.

    Margaret Harrison

    Centre Manager

    Margaret qualified from the Sheffield School of Nursing in 1986 and has specialised in cancer care since 2000. Her background includes clinical nurse specialist roles in breast cancer and lymphoedema as well as extensive experience in cancer education with students, healthcare professionals, patients and carers. Margaret is responsible for the day to day running of the Cancer Support Centre and works with her team to ensure anyone affected by cancer – patient, carer, relative or friend – is given the individual care and support that is right for them at the time it is most needed. Her role involves ensuring that the huge variety of cancer services and support offered at the Centre are of the highest quality and that the welcome you receive by the staff and volunteers gives every person the confidence to access that care and support.

    Hannah Hall

    Service Development and Engagement Lead

    Hannah worked as a Senior Therapy Radiographer at Weston Park Hospital for five years, graduating in 2009 with BSc (HONS) in Radiotherapy and Oncology. She joined the Cancer Support Centre team in 2014.  Hannah is dedicated to the continual development of the Centre, improving local information and our services.

    Vicky Brady

    Senior Cancer Support Nurse

    Vicky joined us in 2008, from the Haematology Oncology Unit at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.  She has comprehensive experience in caring for cancer patients and their families and also leads on bereavement support at the Centre.

    Anne Crofts

    Senior Cancer Support Nurse

    Anne joined the team in 2015 after having gained a wide variety of experience in nursing cancer patients and supporting their families.  In particular she has worked for seven years, as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in upper gastro-intestinal (stomach and oesophageal) cancers.  Anne is currently the lead for carers’ support and facilitates a variety of groups and well-being events.

    Fran Ball

    Information and Support Nurse

    Fran qualified as a Nurse in 1999 and joined us from the Head and Neck Unit at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in March 2013.  She brings with her 13 years experience of working with Head and Neck patients, these include ophthalmology, maxillary facial and ENT (Ear Nose & Throat).  Fran works at the Centre three days a week.

    Sarah Saunby

    Centre Administrator

    Sarah joined the Centre in April 2016.  She started her career as an adult staff nurse, had a break to raise a family and has worked in the Third Sector since 2002.

    Sarah works 3 days per week in the busy Admin office, providing an administrative service for the Centre.

    Vicky Butcher

    Administration Assistant

    Vicky joined the Centre in April 2015, after working in the Admissions Department at Sheffield City College for 14 years.  Vicky works full time in the busy Admin office at the Centre, helping with a variety of admin tasks, including organising the Look Good Feel Better pamper workshop.

    Pam Dutton

    Support Worker

    Pam started working at Weston Park Hospital in 1990 as a Domestic Assistant and joined the Centre in 2000, becoming a Support Worker in 2002.  Pam works four days a week and will welcome you into the Centre, giving out information to patients, carers and relatives.  Pam has been running the Wednesday afternoon craft sessions since 2002 and now shares this with Fee.  Pam also attends the monthly Radiotherapy Open Evenings held at Weston Park Hospital, where she meets patients and relatives, giving them information about what is on offer at the Centre.


    Fiona Ball

    Support Worker

    Fiona started working at Weston Park Hospital in 1987 as a Support Worker, joining the Centre in 1999.  Fiona works full time and will welcome you into the Centre, handing out information to patients, carers and relatives.  Fiona and Pam run the craft sessions on Wednesday afternoons both doing a variety of crafts.

    Gill Reynolds

    Volunteer Coordinator

    Gill joined the Centre in Oct 2017, having previously worked with volunteers within a mental health charity. She recruits and manages volunteers for both the Centre and outreach projects. Gill works three days a week.
